Pellet heating boilers
Tehnology for our future
DCC is a registered trade mark of the company Biotech and stands for DUAL COMBUSTION CONTROL. This unique combustion technique. is applied by air mass sensors and the lamda probe and it is a part of all modern pellet heating systems of Biotech; it is also available in systems of other nameable heating system producers.
Origins
Similar to the automotive industry where this technique is already In use for two decades – Biotech applied this technique for the first time worldwide in 1997 to a pellet heating appliance and has subsequently brought this technology on the market. Since this launching, a pellet heating boiler without the DCC technique is indispensable in our time of climate change and the resulting regulations.
Principle of function
The lambda probe is directly placed in the fume outlet of the boiler and delivers constant data about the rest oxygen of the exhaust gas. In combination with the applied air mass sensors, the composition of the combustible pellet is recognized automatically and adjusted. In practice, the DCC enables a high degree of efficiency and low emission values in every range of performance
